This weekend see’s Rumney Youth play in the Welsh Youth cup semi-final against Newbridge Youth. As last year’s defending Champions it would be a great achievement if they can get to another final, to be played at the Principality Stadium..

The team are currently 1st in the Division 1 Blues league with 5 games to go, and go into this week’s game on the back of an impressive performance against Cardiff Met at the weekend, coming out 20-10 winners.

This week’s semi will be another big game against the unbeaten Newbridge Youth who are currently top of the Dragons division 1 league. It promises to be a classic battle of the regions, the Blues and Dragons best!!

I know the boys would really appreciate it if you can come and support them. They’ve worked hard all season to get in the position to achieve what could be an unprecedented league and Cup double in consecutive years. Let’s all get there to give them the support they deserve #uptheruminittogether
